Free Seedlings for school children:
One such project focuses on distributing seedlings to schoolchildren in rural Bangladesh. Providing free seedlings fosters a love for nature and enhances environmental awareness among students. In partnership with the Bangladesh Biodiversity Conservation and Social Services Center (BCSSC), around 10,000 seedlings have already been distributed to students.
Sponsorship Program for Climate Change Affected School Children:
The Green Fund Initiative believes that educating children affected by climate change significantly strengthens a community’s ability to address environmental challenges. This education fosters long-term sustainability, raises awareness, enhances understanding, develops adaptation strategies, encourages innovation, and promotes community engagement. Educated children are better prepared to respond to weather-related disasters and mitigate risks. Additionally, education reduces vulnerability by alleviating poverty, providing access to information, and building social capital.
