We invite you to support an urgent cause that is crucial for the future of vulnerable communities in Bangladesh. Our Water and Sanitation Project is dedicated to addressing the critical needs of communities severely impacted by climate change, including women, children, and indigenous people. Through this initiative, we aim to provide access to clean water, improve sanitation facilities, and empower communities with sustainable water management practices.
As climate change exacerbates water scarcity, poor sanitation, and lack of awareness, these communities face significant challenges, including erratic rainfall, increased salinity in water sources, and severe health risks from inadequate sanitation. In response, the Green Fund Initiative, in partnership with local organizations such as WEDO, OVWS, and UERD, has already made impactful strides by installing eco-friendly latrines, deep tube wells, and conducting vital training in handwashing and sanitation practices.
However, there is still much work to be done. With your support, we can expand this effort to benefit 500 more families in the coastal regions of Bangladesh, enhancing their resilience to climate change, improving health outcomes, and fostering sustainable water practices for the long term.
-Help provide sustainable access to clean water for communities facing water scarcity.
-Improve sanitation and hygiene, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases.
-Empower communities with the knowledge and resources to manage their water and sanitation needs.
-Support the long-term environmental benefits of eco-friendly water and sanitation solutions.
