Biospheric
We care for the “environment” and believe that the more individuals endorse biospheric principles, the more they tend to act pro-environmentally. Therefore, we prioritize the promotion of biospheric value at all levels of our activities.
Altruistic
We care for “others” regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. We also value the rights of others, including the right to life and liberty, the right to freedom from slavery, the right to freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and other human rights, in general. We believe that everyone is entitled to these rights without discrimination. We promote respect and diversity in our work.
Community Empowerment
We emphasize the community empowerment process where the community members come together to take collective action and generate solutions to problems. We pursue participatory and bottom-up approaches to development that can make the community more engaged in solving their own problems in a sustainable way.
Collaboration and Cooperation
To foster positive change and achieve our goal, we trust in collaboration and cooperation with other NGOs, governments, and other entities within and beyond borders.
Accountability
We are accountable for our actions and decisions to the community we serve, and to our donors, respective government, staff and volunteers, members, partner organizations, and the public at large. At the same time, we maintain integrity in all stages of our work.
