Green Fund Initiative (GFI), with support from GlobalGiving donors and our local partner Bangladesh Biodiversity Conservation and Social Services Centre (BCSSC), has successfully completed the “Help Us Install a Water Tank for School Kids!” project in Netrokona District, Bangladesh.

The project has provided a rural school serving more than 500 students with a new 1,000-liter water tank installed on a 20 foot concrete pillar.
A Simple Solution with Lasting Impact
The new water storage facility provides the school with a more reliable supply of water for students and daily school needs. It is especially valuable during hot and dry periods when water shortages can make school life more difficult for children. Reliable access to water helps students stay hydrated, supports better hygiene, and contributes to a healthier and more comfortable learning environment. For the students, this project represents more than a water tank. It is a practical investment in their health, well-being, and education.
Thank You to Our Supporters

GFI sincerely thanks GlobalGiving and the generous donors whose support made this project possible. We are also grateful to our local partner, BCSSC, and the school community for their cooperation in making the project a success.
The project is now complete, but its benefits will continue to serve students for years to come. One water tank. More than 500 students. A healthier learning environment.
At Green Fund Initiative, we believe that access to basic necessities like clean water can help create better opportunities for children and communities.

Together, we can turn essential needs into lasting change.
