About the Project
Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in school, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Yet many children in underserved communities in the Bronx begin the school year without essential educational supplies, creating barriers to learning and academic success.
Educational Support for Underserved Children in the Bronx is a community initiative by Green Fund Initiative that helps students from low-income families access the school supplies and educational resources they need to thrive. Through partnerships with local schools and community organizations, we provide backpacks, notebooks, stationery, books, and other essential learning materials to help children start the school year prepared and confident.
Our goal is to reduce educational inequality, encourage school readiness, and empower children to build brighter futures through education. By investing in young learners today, we are helping strengthen families and create more resilient communities for tomorrow.
